Reminder: Submit Landscaping Plans and Exterior Changes for Approval

Horizon Residents,

As we are about halfway through summer, we would like to take a moment to remind all residents in the Horizon Uptown Metro District about the importance of submitting landscaping plans and exterior changes for approval.

As outlined in the Design guidelines, landscaping is a key component of maintaining the aesthetic appeal and harmony of our neighborhood. We appreciate your commitment to enhancing the beauty of our community through thoughtful landscaping and exterior modifications. To ensure any changes made align with the overall vision of Horizon Uptown, it is required for all residents to submit their landscaping plans and exterior alterations for approval prior to installing them.

  • Initial landscaping is required to be submitted and approved by the District prior to installation.  All homes are required to have a buried sprinkler system installed. All plant material shall be irrigated. Initial landscaping must be installed within 180 days of closing.
  • All modifications to the exterior of your home or landscaping must be applied for and approved.  This includes the addition of a trampoline, shed or pergola to your yard.
  • All privacy screens must be approved by the District and must follow the District guidelines.
  •  All fences must be installed according to the District guidelines.

Please review the design guidelines and access the request form on the District’s website at https://www.horizonmds.org/design-review-request-information. Please submit completed applications to info@horizonmd.live Or submit via mail to Horizon Metropolitan District c/o Pinnacle Consulting Group, Inc 550 W Eisenhower Blvd. Loveland, CO 80537.
Please reach out to the District with any questions at info@horizonmd.live  or 970-617-2470.
